Mr Joe Abbott BMedSci BMBS FRCOphth is a consultant ophthalmic surgeon and clinical lead at Birmingham Children’s Hospital, United Kingdom. He graduated from Nottingham Medical School and trained in the West Midlands before undertaking fellowships training at Birmingham Children’s Hospital, Moorfields Eye Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital. He is one of very few surgeons with dual fellowships in paediatric ophthalmology and glaucoma. His interests include the childhood glaucomas, paediatric cataract, ocular trauma and cranio-facial disorders.
